Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to Canalway’s work!

When you volunteer with Canalway, you will help people connect to our amazing natural and cultural resources, share your talents and personality, meet new people, and make our running races and community events impactful and engaging.

We offer community members a number of ways to engage with the National Heritage Area, and love working with volunteer groups as well as individuals to help make our events a success. From picking up litter at RiverSweep to handing out water at the Towpath Trilogy, volunteers are an important part of everything we do.
