Canalway is pleased to share two new board members have been added to the board of directors. New board members were confirmed at the August 21 board meeting. The appointments are:

  • Ryan Rosenthal, University Hospitals
  • Margaret M. Toohey, Jones Day

Canalway’s board now has 16 members.

Ryan Rosenthal
Ryan Rosenthal is the Reimbursement Manager for University Hospitals Health System responsible for $200M+ in Medicare reimbursement and specializing in Medicare Cost Reporting. His professional background is in Accounting (MBA), Healthcare Finance and Regulatory reporting. He lives in Northeast Ohio (Twinsburg area), enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, and is also an entrepreneur, creating faith-based journal products that empower others to align vision, faith, and success. Some of his journal products have been featured on local news outlets and sold within the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Ryan is passionate about mentorship and developing tools that inspire growth in both business and personal life.

Margaret M. Toohey
Margaret is a Global Disputes attorney at Jones Day, where she represents clients in high-stakes, cross-border litigation and international arbitration. In addition to her disputes work, Margaret regularly counsels clients navigating global commercial challenges. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, securing asylum for political dissidents. Outside of the office, Margaret serves on the Junior Board of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute and is a member of the Cleveland Committee on Foreign Relations. She walks the Towpath Trail in Tremont daily and enjoys canoeing Ohio’s rivers with her border terrier, Otter. Margaret earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. from Bates College.
