On Sunday morning, Canalway kicked off the 2023 Towpath Trilogy race series with the Towpath Half, featuring a half marathon & five mile races on the Towpath Trail in Cleveland Metroparks’ Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation.
Enjoying sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures, 525 participants ran the half marathon and five-mile courses.

After the race, participants enjoyed bagels from Cleveland Bagel, bananas, Gatorade and water supplied by Cleveland Water as well as free adjustments from Cleveland Performance Chiropractic.
The second race in the Towpath Trilogy is the Towpath Twilight 10-10 on June 16, a Friday evening race featuring 10k, 10 mile and 5K courses. The Trilogy concludes at The Towpath Marathon on October 07.
