Canalway Partners has appointed Amy Witacre and Mark Raymond to its Board of Directors.

Amy Whitacre is a Vice President, National Business Development for First American Title Insurance Company National Commercial Services. She has been in this role for the past 19 years. Her responsibilities include business development and maintaining client relationships.
Amy is also active in many professional and civic organizations, often in leadership roles. She is currently a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) having served as a co-chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative and a member of the ULI Outreach Committee. She currently serves as chair of NAIOP’s Strategic Initiative Committee and is a former Past-President of Northern Ohio NAIOP. Amy maintains an active role in CREW Cleveland (Commercial Real Estate Women) having served as a Chapter President (2008) and former Director of Programs (2019-2020).
Her contributions to these organizations have been recognized by being awarded the Champion of the Year (2013), Member of the Year (2005 and 2019) and the Deborah Rockner Klausner Leadership Award (2020) by CREW Cleveland, as well as Member of the Year (2009) by Northern Ohio NAIOP and the national NAIOP organization’s very first Volunteer of the Year award (2014). She serves on the Board of The Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity and has served on the Advisory Council for the YWCA and the nominating committee for the national CREW Network. In 2019, Amy won the DPK Circle of Excellence award from First American Title Insurance Company for her efforts in sales.
Mark Raymond is the developer, owner and operator of The Cleveland Hostel and Guest House, the largest hostel in the Midwest outside of Chicago.
Since opening in 2012 the hostel and guesthouse has brought tens of thousands of visitors to Cleveland from well over 100 countries. He is a proud Ohio City and Cleveland resident and serves on the boards of the Ohio City Improvement Corporation and the Monroe Street Cemetery Foundation and is active in the South of Lorain Block Club.
Mark has traveled extensively across the United States and to over 70 countries around the world. He holds a degree in urban planning from Arizona State University and has completed masters course work in urban planning at the Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University) in Finland.
