2019 Riversweep was a BIG success as over 800 volunteers removed appx. 60 tons of trash and 450 illegally dumped tires from 11 sites. Thanks to Davey Tree for their in-kind donation of their wood chipper and crew that cleared out a LOT of the historic canal at Canal Basin Park
Afterwards volunteers descended upon Hart Crane Park for a Sainato’s pizza lunch while music from the REVIVE electronic dance music fest played in the background.
