All stages of the Towpath Trail project are moving along nicely. The Towpath Trail Project has been awarded $500,000 from the Clean Ohio Trails Fund for construction on Stage 1. This keeps the project on schedule for a 2018 construction start.The progress can be attributed to the contributions from the four parties who manage the project: City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Cleveland Metroparks and Canalway Partners. Mayor Jackson’s support has been steady; he has brought intimate involvement from key city departments in its development. Read more about the project here.
