The Towpath Trilogy is Canalway’s annual running race series featuring three events on the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga County. The series features a variety of distances, from a 5k to a full marathon and includes races in April, June and October.
The Towpath Trilogy is Canalway’s largest annual fundraiser, and supports our ongoing efforts to promote and programming the Towpath Trail and connect people to place for the prosperity of all.
Register for the Towpath Trilogy online before April 10 on Run Sign-Up, or print out the mail-in form and send it to us with payment to register.

After the Towpath Half on April 13, you can register for each race individually to complete the series.

You will pick up your packet for each race individually, the week prior to each race. You can pay a fee to have the bibs mailed to you when you register. New in 2026, There is also an option to pay for race-day packet pickup, but it must be arranged ahead of time.
No. To earn the Trilogy sweatshirt at the end of the race series, you need to participate in each race, but you can register for each race individually as needed.
