The Towpath Trilogy is an annual running race series that takes place on the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga County and benefits Canalway. Your participation directly supports the programming of the Towpath Trail, development of Canal Basin Park, and dozens of other projects within the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area that make our community stronger and more vibrant.
The race series includes the Towpath Half on April 13, 2025, the Towpath Twilight on June 13, 2025, and The Towpath Marathon on October 4, 2025.
To complete the 2025 Towpath Trilogy, runners must register for all three races.
Races offer a variety of course lengths including half marathons, a full marathon, 5-miler, 10-mile, 10K and 5K. Runners (or walkers) who complete all three races earn a custom-designed sweatshirt after the October race.
