River Rally, sponsored by Cargill, is a free community festival celebrating the renewal of the Cuyahoga River with free walking, biking and boat tours at Hart Crane Park.

Activities start at 10 a.m!

Bring a yoga mat and join us outside for a free 10 a.m. yoga class with Hayleigh Robertson from Abide Yoga. Registration not required.

The festival village opens at 11 a.m. offering kids’ crafts, water-themed experiences, free rides on the Holiday Boat, live music, a beer garden and more! Pre-registration is required for some activities- coming soon!

Tours & Rides

  • Kayak Cleanup with Trash Fish: 10 a.m. & 4 p.m. (Pre-Registration required)
  • Cuyahoga River Kayak Tours: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. & 3 p.m. (Pre-Registration required)
  • River Tours on the Holiday Boat: Rides leave every hour starting at 11:30am. Final boat leaves at 4pm.
  • Cleveland Dragon Boat Association - Dragon Boat paddling demonstrations: 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Fresh Water Institute Walking Tour - Learn about the Cuyahoga River's Revival at 11:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m.
  • Urban Birding Walking Tour with the Greater Cleveland Aquarium: 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Where the River Burned Bike Tours with Ohio City Bike Co-Op - 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Bring your own bike & helmet! (Pre-Registration required)

River Rally Festival Village

The River Rally Festival Village kicks off at 11 a.m. with activities and information from a wide variety of partners that love the Cuyahoga River as much as we do!

  • Cleveland Water: Enjoy free drinking water from the buggy and learn about Cleveland’s Water department.
  • Cleveland Water Pollution Control: Step inside the WPC educational trailer to learn more about keeping our water clean.
  • Cleveland Metroparks: Stop by the interactive fish touch pool to get up close and personal with Cuyahoga River wildlife.
  • Fresh Water Institute: Learn how our region’s freshwater stewardship is positioning Cuyahoga County as the freshwater capital of the world.
  • Greater Cleveland Aquarium: Stop by for information about the creatures that call the Cuyahoga River home.
  • Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District: Get all the information you need to know about water quality for recreation.
  • Trash Fish: See the garbage that gets pulled from the Cuyahoga River, and sign-up to join a clean-up.
  • Dragon Boat Association: Play games and experience what the Dragon Boat community has to offer to folks who love to get on the river.
  • Upcycle Parts Shop: Decorate your own wildlife creature using upcycled materials and supplies.
  • Poetry Free Cleveland: Stop by from 1-3 p.m. to write an improv poem inspired by the Cuyahoga.

Food and Drink

  • Drama Club Coffee and Books: Grab a coffee and something to read by the river.
  • Jolly Scholar Brewing Company: Enjoy a cold one in our beer garden.
  • Sainato’s: Get a slice of pizza from Sainato’s right next door.
