Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument Tour 

5 – 5:45 pm at Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, 3 Public Square, Cleveland, 44114 (Tour Meets @ South Side of Monument)

The Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument honors the over 9,000 individuals that served in the Civil War from the County. This tour will give an in-depth description of the artistry of architect and sculptor Levi T. Scofield, himself a veteran of the 103rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry."

Cuyahoga River By Boat

4 - 6 pm & 7 - 9 pm at Merwin's Wharf floating dock, 1785 Merwin Ave, Cleveland, 44113

Cleveland Metroparks Historical Interpreter Doug Kusak is your guide on a 2-hour Cuyahoga River boat ride aboard the eLCee2. We’ll provide a river view while we discuss famous fires on the river, bridges, cargo ships, reclamation, and so much more. We’ll look at what was, what is, and what’s to come.River traffic and bridge operation affect our route. 

Tickets are $20 per person. Limited space is available. Registration is required.

In 1999, a local media outlet dubbed their efforts related to the Towpath Trail in Cleveland as, “The Impossible Dream.” Join Tom Yablonsky and Tim Donovan for coffee, and conversation. They’ll share stories related to the creation of the Towpath Trail in Cleveland and discuss the history of advocacy in Cleveland centered on building the Towpath Trail, the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area and the vision for Canal Basin Park.
