Cuyahoga River Rally

River Rally, sponsored by Cargill, is a free community festival celebrating the renewal of the Cuyahoga River with free walking, biking and boat tours at Hart Crane Park.

The festival village opens at 11 a.m. offering kids’ crafts, water-themed experiences, free rides on the Holiday Boat, live music, a beer garden and more!

Activities start at 10 a.m!

Bring a yoga mat and join us outside for a free 10 a.m. yoga class with Vanessa Dunne. Registration not required.

Tours & Rides

• Kayak Cleanup with Trash Fish: Kayak clean up at 10 a.m.(register here) and Kayak Cleanup at 3:45 p.m (register here) - $10 equipment fee and pre-registration required
• Cuyahoga River Kayak Tours: National Park Service Kayak Tour at 12 p.m. (register here) and National Park Service Kayak Tour at 2 p.m. (register here) - $10 equipment fee and pre-registration required
• River Tours on the Holiday Boat: Rides leave every hour starting at 11:30 a.m. Final boat leaves at 4 p.m. Free! No registration required.
• Fresh Water Institute Walking Tour: Learn about the Cuyahoga River's Revival at 3 p.m. with this free walking tour. No registration required.
• Where the River Burned Bike Tours with Ohio City Bike Co-Op:12 p.m. (register here) and 3 p.m. (register here) Bring your own bike & helmet! Free, but Pre-Registration requested.
• Cleveland Dragon Boat Association - Dragon Boat paddling demonstrations: Guests can sign the CDBA waiver at the dragon boat tent and may choose a time. Paddlers need to be back at the tent 15 mins before the scheduled paddle. Each experience will last about 30-40 mins. Paddles at 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

There will be no birding walking tours this year.

River Rally Festival Village

The River Rally Festival Village kicks off at 11 a.m. with activities and information from a wide variety of partners that love the Cuyahoga River as much as we do!

• Canalway: Celebrate 200 years of the Ohio & Erie Canal and learn how to connect to canal history today.
• Cleveland Water: Enjoy free drinking water from the buggy and learn about Cleveland’s Water department.
• Cleveland Water Pollution Control: Step inside the WPC educational trailer to learn more about keeping our water clean.
• Cleveland Metroparks: Stop by the interactive fish touch pool to get up close and personal with Cuyahoga River wildlife.
• Greater Cleveland Aquarium: Stop by for information about the creatures that call the Cuyahoga River home.
• Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District: Get all the information you need to know about water quality for recreation.
• Trash Fish: See the garbage that gets pulled from the Cuyahoga River, and sign-up to join a clean-up.
• Upcycle Parts Shop: Craft with upcycled materials and supplies.
• Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District: Play an interactive trivia game focused on environmental stewardship, soil health, water conservation, native plants, and sustainable land management.

Food and Drink

• Market Garden Brewery: Enjoy a cold one in our beer garden.
• Sainato’s: Get a slice of pizza from Sainato’s right next door.
• Kona Ice: Grab a snow cone from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
